Freedom Consulting is a Behavioral Health Agency serving Spokane and Stevens Counties. We provide counseling and community-based support for individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges, housing instability, trauma, and major life transitions.

 Required Qualifications

  • LMHC, LMHCA, LICSW, or LICSWA in Washington State
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related human services field
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing systemic or housing instability
  • Strong clinical judgment, boundaries, and documentation skills
  • Comfort working within Medicaid and managed care environments

 Position Summary

The Therapist provides outpatient and community‑based behavioral health services to adults and transition‑age youth. Many clients are actively working toward or maintaining housing, employment, and overall stabilization. This is a full-time clinical position that integrates counseling, care coordination, relationship-based work, and team collaboration.

This role is well‑suited for clinicians who want their work to matter, understand Medicaid and community‑based systems, and bring both compassion and clinical structure to their practice.

 Core Responsibilities

  • Provide individual counseling within scope of licensure
  • Complete assessments, diagnoses (as allowed), treatment plans, and clinical reviews
  • Support clients as they move from crisis or homelessness toward stability and independence
  • Collaborate with internal teams supporting housing, employment, and basic needs
  • Coordinate with external partners as clinically appropriate
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and audit‑ready documentation
  • Participate in supervision, consultation, and agency training
  • Practice in alignment with ethical, trauma‑informed, and culturally responsive standards
  • Maintain a consistent caseload with support from leadership and administrative staff while providing high-quality, person-centered care.
