Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, ethical, and motivated Associate Therapist to provide psychotherapy services in person, via telehealth, or through a hybrid model.

This is a per diem W-2 position. Compensation is based on hours worked, including client sessions, required meetings, and approved practice activities. Associates must maintain a consistent weekly schedule with availability for at least 12 client hours per week. Hours are not guaranteed and may vary based on referrals and scheduling needs.

Clinical Focus

The practice primarily serves adults and older adolescents experiencing:

  • Anxiety and stress-related concerns

  • Depression and emotional regulation challenges

  • Life transitions and relationship issues

  • Neurodivergence

  • Addiction recovery and compulsive behaviors

  • Self-esteem and identity development

We value thoughtful, relationally grounded therapy and sustainable caseload development over high-volume productivity expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychotherapy services within scope of practice

  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

  • Participate in required supervision and staff meetings

  • Adhere to ethical, legal, and HIPAA standards

  • Utilize secure telehealth and electronic health record systems

  • Coordinate care and referrals as appropriate

  • Maintain active Washington State associate licensure in good standing

  • Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and colleagues

Qualifications

Required

  • Active Washington State associate credential:

    • LMHCA

    • LSWAIC

    • LMFTA

  • Eligibility to practice psychotherapy under Washington State law

  • Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently while engaging in supervision and consultation

  • Reliable internet connection and private workspace for telehealth services

Preferred

  • Experience working with adults and older adolescents

  • Interest in neurodivergence-informed and relationally grounded therapy

  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records

  • Availability for daytime and/or evening hours

Supervision & Professional Development

Clinical supervision is provided by a Washington State Approved Supervisor (LMHC) in accordance with associate licensure requirements.

We value collaborative, growth-oriented supervision that supports ethical practice, confidence-building, and long-term professional development. Because supervision is provided within the supervisor’s areas of competency, this position is best suited for clinicians interested in working with adults and older adolescents rather than young children.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $40/hour for client sessions, required meetings, and approved activities

  • Washington State paid sick leave accrual

  • Monthly internet/technology stipend

  • Potential discretionary year-end student loan repayment contribution

  • Flexible hybrid work options

  • Supportive supervision and mentorship

Telehealth Requirements

Clinicians providing telehealth services must maintain:

  • A private workspace suitable for confidential services

  • Reliable internet access

  • HIPAA-compliant technology practices
