Trauma Therapist

Full-time
Salary: $45.00 - $65.00 Hourly
Application Deadline: N/A
Health Care

At Bonfire Healing, we aim to be a collective of trauma healing providers with the mission to promote health equity through increasing access to evidence-based trauma treatment for clients who need to utilize insurance benefits. Cost is one of the biggest barriers to mental health care, particularly in marginalized groups, and there is a growing gap between clinicians trained in evidenced based trauma treatment modalities and those able to offer affordable care.  We are insurance based to help fill this gap while providing needed support to clinicians in this field.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated trauma therapists to provide evidence-based outpatient telehealth treatment to clients with history of trauma, including complex developmental trauma.

As a collective, we are aware that clinicians have different employment needs and offer both W2 positions and billing/services options for those in their own private practice but want support.  This aligns with our goal to provide a collaborative professional environment to support both trauma clinicians and the clients we serve.  If you are not interested in a W2 position, but are interested in trauma therapy support please reach out for information on offerings including supervision and billing.

Employee W2 Positions:  For clinicians who want the support of a group practice with competitive hourly wages, paid administrative time, included supervision and consultation, opportunities for growth, liability insurance, paid training stipend, paid time off, tax benefits, and health and dental benefits for full time employees

  • $45-$65 per clinical (billable) hour. Rate is determined by licensure and years of experience
  • $25 per administrative (non-billable) hour
  • Paid time off: at 2 hours of vacation time and 1 hour of sick time per 40 hours worked and 10 paid holidays off a year (can be rotated depending on what you celebrate). Combines to 5 ½ weeks per year if working average of 40 hours per week.
