This is an in-person position working with male and female adolescents in a co-occurring PHP/IOP setting. We do meaningful, high-impact work with teens and families—and we take a family therapy-centered approach, with strong training in ABFT.
I’ll be honest—this is a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. It’s not for someone looking for a slow outpatient caseload. But if you’re someone who thrives in an engaged, collaborative setting and wants to grow quickly as a clinician, it can be incredibly rewarding.
What stands out about this role:
Small caseload (typically no more than 8 clients)
Mix of individual, family, and group therapy
Strong team collaboration with psychiatry and multidisciplinary staff
Supportive, warm team culture (this genuinely matters here)
No on-call and a consistent Monday–Friday schedule
One evening per week (10am–6pm)
Training & Growth Opportunities:
Free EMDR training (fully covered)
Ongoing free CEUs and clinical trainings
Extensive training in ABFT and co-occurring treatment
Free supervision for license-eligible LMHC, LMFT, and LCSW clinicians
Multiple consultation groups you can drop into
Additional Program Features:
Strong family involvement, including parent support groups
Insurance-based setting—so timely documentation is essential
Compensation:
$67,200 – $92,400, depending on licensure and years of experience
Full benefits package
Who tends to do well here:
Therapists who are relational, engaged, and clinically curious
People who can tolerate (and even enjoy) a bit of organized chaos
Clinicians who want to develop real depth in family work and co-occurring care
