Associate or Licensed Therapist (LMHCA, LMFTA, LMHC, LMFT)

WINTER SAGE COUNSELING is seeking Associate or Licensed Therapists who are currently seeing clients, or are able to do so quickly. At WSC, we believe in not taking advantage of associates by paying them poorly!

We are a great fit for:

• Associates who want to eventually have their own business, but want to focus on their hours now
• Associates who may want time to decide if they want their own business.
• Licensed clinicians who don't want to manage the business end of their practic

This is a 1099 position.

What is offered:

• Because certain hard costs don’t change, pay is based on number of average number of completed appointments per month*.
  • Starting pay per appointment:
    • 51 – 60 /month                         $70 per appt
    • 61+ /month                               $80 per appt
    • > 80 /month                              $90 per appt
  • Credentialing with Premera and Lifewise
  • EHR (Therapy Notes)
    • Appointment scheduling and client reminders
      • Easy-to-use notes, including voice notes
      • HIPPA-compliant telehealth platform.
  • HIPAA-compliant subscriptions for Business processes
    • Fax
    • Microsoft 365
    • Other as necessary
  • Financial management
    • Client billing
    • Insurance billing
    • Insurance claim management
  • Mentoring as a therapist (Supervision available in 2027) and business owner.
  • Consult group weekly.
  • Potential access to Bothell office 2 days per week.
  • Mentoring for your business when you are ready.
  • Opportunity to join group practice when fully licensed.

Qualifications:

• Graduate degree in psychology, counseling psychology, or similar.
• Licensed as an LMHCA, LMFTA
• Exceptional communication skills.
• References from your practicum.
• Desire to eventually develop your own practice, and/or enter a group practice.
