About Us

Mindful Springs (est. 2013) is expanding in Seattle! We are seeking therapists who are excited to join our team and who are excited to help us make a big difference in the lives of our clients through providing non-traditional therapy services including Brainspotting, EMDR and, ketamine assisted/ psychedelic assisted psychotherapy! We are especially looking for staff seeking long-term employment, who want to help us expand guided by our mission, and who are interested in growth opportunties as they develop.

Mindful Springs Counseling (MSC) operates in 3 states including Washington and is a team of counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and nurse practitioners. In addition, Mindful Springs Counseling is proud to be an independently and female owned small business free from the control and direction of venture capitalists, private equity firms and other investors. 

MSC is motivated to grow by the desire for more people to find out about alternative types of therapy that go beyond the traditional cognitive or relational talk therapy to create real and lasting healing that has the potential to disrupt cycles of abuse, prevent and stop child abuse, and heal generation trauma!

Job Details

  • Employment Type:

    • Full-Time (27-35 clients per week)

  • Washington State License Requirements:

    • LMHC, LMHCA, LMFTA, LMFT, LICSW

  • Compensation:

    • Fully Licensed Counselors: $55-65 per client hour

    • Associate Licensed Counselors: $40-50 per client hour

    • Administrative Pay: $22 per hour x3 weekly hours; 1 hour paid supervision weekly (associates only); 1 hour paid meeting weekly; 1 hour paid other admin time (to include evaluations, treatment plans, emails, free client consultations etc) periodic team meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing quality clinical psychotherapy to include Brainspotting, KAP, Perinatal MH and/or Eating Disorder Recovery Services in addition to other psychotherapy approaches and areas of focus to a full-time caseload of clients;
  • Actively engaging in clinical supervision, a minimum of every other week and/ or clinical peer consultation weekly;
  • Completing all required medically compliant clinical documentation within 24 hours after client interaction;
  • Completing additional assignments from clinical supervisor that may include self-promotion, consultation groups, trainings, etc;
  • Correctly coding and editing client appointments to reflect services provided;
  • Providing brief intake appointments and scheduling clients;
  • Collaborating with your administrative team;
  • Additional responsibilities that may not be listed by assigned by supervisor that are relevant and appropriate to role

Qualifications

  • Active LMHC, LMHCA, LMFTA, LMFT, LICSWA or LICSW license in Washington State.

  • Passion for using non-traditional therapies and working with diverse clients from marginalized backgrounds

  • Strong ability to work independently

  • Desire to grow long-term with practice and help practice grow in Seattle

Preferred Qualifications

  • Training and experience in Brainspotting, ketamine assisted treatment, perinatal population or eating disorders.

  • Familiarity with inclusive practices and trauma-informed care.
