Family Addiction Therapist

Family Addiction Therapist: A contract position open for a chemical dependency professional (SUDP) with expertise in family recovery, or marriage and family therapist/social worker/mental health counselor with expertise or experience in addiction, to provide family-centered addiction recovery® therapy.  Interested professionals should read the website for the agency: www.TreatWithCare.com.

Qualifications:

Minimum: Master’s degree in related field and at least four years of experience in chemical dependency counseling or recovery, with solid written and verbal communication skills, and sufficient maturity and integrity to be effectively calm and compassionate while facilitating strategic change in family relational patterns in emotional situations. 

Wage: As a contractor the person can work full or part time earning 95% of the net income from counseling service fees by providing family therapy sessions.  Position historically earns $70-88,000 per year. Work hours are weekday and need to be flexible to meet needs of families struggling with addiction, while balancing therapist needs.

Work hours can qualify for both Washington State DOH marriage and family therapist licensure and, as otherwise arranged, for national chemical dependency counselor continuing education.  The position has the prospect to develop into a practice partnership or private solo practice.   Send resume and references to: Intervention Specialists, LLC at: 9203 E.
